By using the services provided to the public by Clan Mage, you here-by agree to the following conduct policy enforced by Clan Mage. If you, the \"user\", have any issues with the preceding guidelines for conduct, you are subject to them regardless of personal opinion as long as you use our services. Any failure to abide by these guidelines will result in removal from the network.

Section I: User Conduct

a.) All users are expected to treat others with respect at all times.
b.) Any actions intended to disrupt another user\'s experience, including but not limited to: inappropriate word usage, verbal or text-based threats, message flooding of any kind, cheating, etc., are considered harassment; for which Clan Mage has zero tolerance.
c.) If a user is being harassed on our network, we suggest that person contact a Clan Mage Admin (@) on IRC, we are located at: irc://irc.gamesurge.net/mage where the issue will be further researched and then action will be taken depending on any findings.

Section II: Clan Mage Member Conduct

a.) All users are expected to treat Clan Mage Members with respect, and vice versa.
b.) If a Clan Mage Member informs you (the user) that you are in violation of the Clan Mage AUP, you must stop said violation immediately or action will be taken. [see Section VII]
c.) If a user feels that a Clan Mage Member is abusing his or her admin status, please e-mail us at abuse@clanmage.com with a description of the abusive act, logs (if available), the location (IRC, forum, game server), the name of the Clan Mage Member who you feel has acted inappropriately, and the time of the incident. so a resolution of the dispute can be achieved.

Section III: Content Restrictions

a.) Forbidden content includes, but is not limited to, pornography of any form, copyright infringement, multiplayer game cheats (\"hacks\"), and offensive names. This content is not permitted on the Clan Mage network. Any violators found will be dealt with in a strictly and timely manner.
b.) Any form of disrespect against any user on the Clan Mage network based on specific groups of people on the basis of race, religion, ethnic background, nationality, disability, gender or sexual orientation, and user affiliation is not tolerated.

Section IV: IRC Conduct Rules

a.) Clan Mage reserves the right to deny channel access for any reason deemed necessary.
b.) Inappropriate words both in user conversation and user nicknames are uncalled for and can result in user termination from the Clan Mage channel.
c.) Advertising any content or services (either in the main channel or to our users) may only be done with Clan Mage permission, not doing so may result in a suspension from the channel.

Section V: Clan Mage Network

a.) The term \"network\" includes the computers, programs and data that comprise the Clan Mage servers (including services) and connections between them.
b.) Any attack on the network will be considered computer trespass and will result in an immediate ban from the network, reports to your network provider(s) and possible legal action.

Section VI: Access Privileges
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a.) The usage of the Clan Mage network and our services are privileges given to you, the user, it is not a right.
b.) Violation of this AUP by a user may result in removal from the network and/or loss of access privileges.
c.) By connecting to Clan Mage game servers, you agree to allow Clan Mage to scan your machine for insecurities. If you do not wish to be scanned, do not connect to Clan Mage servers.

Section VII: Punishment

a.) There are several possible punishments if a user has violate the Clan Mage AUP; which are used is decided on a case by case basis and are influenced by the severity of the violation, history of abuse and other factors.
b.) Punishments include, but are not limited to, chat gags, player usage termination, or a suspension of network services to any person or group persons.

Section VIII: Interpretation
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a.) Clan Mage senior members will interpret this AUP if there is found to be any need to do so.
b.) All updates will be prominently listed in the AUP section of this website.

Section IX: Invitation Clause
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a.) Clan Mage currently uses an invitation-only method of recruitment.
b.) If Clan Mage notices a user and they demonstrate all the charateristics that are favored: non-conflicting personality, some what skill at a game, etc. an invite may be extended.
c.) Due to this policy, if any user(s) display a desire to join Clan Mage, it is heavily discouraged to \'nag\' about joining. Any user doing so will more than likely be ignored after extended duration.
